The Civil Engineering department is responsible for the construction, renovation and modernization of structures, such as:

  • engineering structures, such as
    • waste disposal structures and facilities,
    • hydraulic engineering structures and facilities,
    • supply and disposal structures and facilities,
    • culvert structures,
    • noise protection systems,
    • retaining structures and
  • infrastructure facilities.

With our team of engineers in structural engineering and urban water management, we have many years of expertise in the planning of structures and transportation facilities as well as the development of structural solutions in civil engineering.

We have successfully completed projects for our public and private clients in the following areas:

  • construction of recycling centers,
  • construction site logistics and traffic development for the construction of wind farms,
  • traffic-related development of private and commercial properties,
  • land development with supply and disposal facilities,
  • wastewater drainage and distribution measures as part of the construction or renovation of wastewater treatment plants,
  • rainwater retention and infiltration measures, rainwater treatment measures,
  • hydraulic engineering measures as part of flood damage restoration,
  • restoration of open channels and watercourses.

Interfaces exist with all other project and specialist planners involved in construction planning. Important partners here are also ground surveyors, environmental and landscape planners, fire protection engineers, noise protection experts as well as experts and planners for thermal insulation.
