GICON® - Grossmann Ingenieur Consult GmbH was founded in 1994 in Dresden by ten employees and is today one of the largest owner-managed engineering companies in Germany with approx. 350 permanent and freelance employees. GICON® -Grossmann Ingenieur Consult GmbH offers services in the fields of plant engineering, building design, environmental & approval planning as well as technical informatics and operates its own division for research and technology development.

IfAÖ has been researching and evaluating terrestrial and aquatic biotopes and ecosystems for more than 25 years. The main activities of the private research institution, founded in 1993, are the description of natural ecosystems as well as the estimation, assessment and documentation of changes caused both naturally and by human activities. BGD ECOSAX GmbH was founded in 2016 and is the result of a merger between BGD Boden- und Grundwasserlabor GmbH (founded in 1994) and ECOSYSTEM SAXONIA GmbH (founded in 1990). The areas of waste management / landfill construction, exploration / monitoring as well as water management / hydraulic engineering, technical water protection and water body modeling form the company's competence framework. ITA Institut für innovative Technologien GmbH was founded in 1993 by Professor Detlef Deininger as an independent company and centre for technology in Köthen (Saxony-Anhalt). The company works as an inter-company safety engineering service in the fields of occupational safety, plant safety and explosion protection. The company's range of services extends, among other things, from risk assessment in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG) and the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) to safety data sheets in accordance with the CLP Ordinance, classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, and risk and conformity assessments. NWgeoVerm Engineering GmbH from North Rhine-Westphalia has been part of GICON® since fall 2022. In the 30 years since its foundation, the company has built up expert knowledge in four fields: Cable and pipeline surveying, facility surveying, land management and specialized expertise (such as airborne laser scanning, drone surveying, hydrographic surveying, cable and pipeline locating and database development). Today, around 30 employees work for NWgeoVerm Engineering GmbH. In 2022, the company was awarded the contract for right of way services as part of the SuedLink grid expansion project.

With Gürtler & Kaplan, the GICON® Group has strengthened its team of experts for planning services in the field of building construction and civil engineering at the beginning of 2023. A particular focus of the company is on projects for the logistics sector and specialty chemicals. The company offers its customers complete engineering services from a single source - the GICON® principle - from concept to handover.
The core services of Gürtler & Kaplan include structural and civil engineering, structural design, tendering and awarding of public contracts, site management, construction supervision, construction management, planning of municipal networks and facilities as well as refurbishment of prefabricated buildings, schools and gymnasiums.
Planning Office of Schubert GmbH & Co. KG
The company focusing on open space planning, building planning and regional and urban development has been part of the GICON® Group since October 2023. The spectrum of Schubert's planning office ranges from classic planning to expert opinions, specialist planning services and conceptual work to support in the procurement of funding and financing. The team has already received several awards for its work.
