Research and development is an essential focus of activity in the GICON Group, the creation of innovations is the core of our corporate philosophy. As an innovative service provider for our customers as well as for the further development of the company, we research and develop new processes, products and services. For this we have built up a highly qualified staff and a high-quality technical infrastructure and created a comprehensive network of cooperation relationships with leading research institutions.

Innovation takes place in all departments of the GICON group. Each department has the goal of developing a new product or process every year. The Research Coordination Department is available for advice.

In addition to the internal innovation of the specialist departments, the Technology Development business unit also develops complex technologies. The focus is on regenerative energies and material and energy efficiency. The technologies are biogas generation and utilization (focus on waste to energy), biosolar (highly effective reactors for the production of microalgae), floating offshore foundations and industrial water management. The development takes place from the patented invention to the transition to production readiness.

With several technological development lines, the GICON Group has now achieved a leading position both in Germany and internationally. This is also reflected in the diverse contributions from the public media about our activities.
